40 weeks today...Full term!

So here we are April 14th our due date. Nothing feels out of the ordinary today accept this headache that keeps coming and going. I really want to go into labor naturally, but I think this little girl is much to happy in me, and has other plans.

I had to get out of the house today so I ran to the post office, subway and to a cute little store here in Cottage Grove. I think I freaked the ladies out a little when they asked me when I was due, and I said "Today!" The looks on their faces where that of shock, and what the heck are you doing here! They asked if my husband knew I was out and about...ha really? This store is one that has a little of everything, and is the perfect place to buy gifts, by that meaning things are not cheap. Since I have found out I was pregnant I have been eying up these cute little socks that look like shoes. I finally gave in and purchased them....I guess it's now or never. This is totally out of the norm for me. I am not sure I have paid full price for much of anything for this baby girl.




When I got home there was a package on the front steps. Oh I love surprises!! It was a gift for baby A from Great Grandpa Lyle and Jackie. Andy's grandparents. They send two cute red ladybug onesies with shorts, a white eyelet and lavender dress with bloomers and headband, two antique bells that go great in the nursery and the most adorable pair of tiny red shoes.



If nothing happens today or tomorrow my next appointment is on Friday. I am sure my doctor will set an induction date then. I will be back to post after that, unless baby A decides to come before! Thank you all for the wonderful gifts, thoughts and prayers these past 40 weeks. It really does go by fast. I can't believe it is already April 14th!

Oh yes and by the way the only clothes left to wear are my black stretchy workout pants and 1 long maternity tank top. Everything else is to hot or to short. The bottom of my belly hangs out....not a good look. I do see other pregnant people allowing themselves in public like this though, I guess they are to the point that they really don't care anymore! I totally get it!
